Congratulations, Beverly Longid, as a new member of the rri board

We congratulate Beverly Longid, national convener of Katribu, on her appointment as a new member of the Board of Directors of the Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI).

This milestone is a victory for Indigenous Peoples’ defense of their right to self-determination and ancestral land. Beverly's presence in RRI’s Board brings with it the voice of grassroots Indigenous resistance. It affirms that Indigenous Peoples are not merely stakeholders, but decision-makers in shaping policies that affect our territories and futures.
