Funa-ay Claver as new Secretary-General of KATRIBU

Let us welcome Funa-ay Claver as the new Secretary-General of KATRIBU Kalipunan ng Katutubong Mamamayan ng Pilipinas!

Following the recently concluded 2026 KATRIBU National Council Meeting in Sagada, Mountain Province, Funa-ay officially takes on the role of Secretary-General as KATRIBU continues strengthening the national alliance and advancing the collective struggles of Indigenous Peoples across the country amidst worsening plunder and attacks on ancestral lands and communities.

Funa-ay is a Bontok youth who has long stood alongside Indigenous communities in the defense of ancestral lands, rights, and self-determination. She previously served as spokesperson of Progressive Igorots for Social Action (PIGSA) and continues to organize and work closely with Indigenous youth and communities.

As we continue rebuilding and strengthening our grassroots formations and campaigns nationwide, let us look forward to advancing our campaigns and collective struggle.
