LOOK: On April 8, Beverly Longid, National Convener of Katribu and Co-convener of Panaghiusa, delivered a report on the state of Indigenous Peoples' rights in the Philippines—originally submitted to then UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, Dr. Cali Tzay.

Funa-ay Claver, spokesperson of Katribu, also addressed the ongoing criminalization and red-tagging of Indigenous Peoples rights defenders.

The discussion took place during “Navigating the Indigenous Peoples Landscape,” a forum organized by Panaghiusa and the Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center (LRC), in partnership with Indigenous Peoples Rights International (IPRI).
