November 29, 2025 It has been more than a week since the military, particularly elements of the 103rd Infantry Battalion, 503rd Infantry Brigade, 5th Infantry Division, started their operations in Pinukpuk, Kalinga. The Philippine Army engaged 10 to 15 members of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Pinukpuk, Kalinga, on November 21, 2025. Since then, the barangay has been experiencing lockdown conditions and restrictions on mobility. On November 23, the army clashed with the NPA.
