Katribu welcomes the release of those who were illegally arrested by the police during the people’s barricade in Dupax del Norte against the encroachment of Woggle Corporation. We reiterate that forming a barricade is not a crime, but a legitimate act of self-defense against displacement and destruction caused by corporations like Woggle.

We continue to stand with the people of Dupax del Norte in their fight against corporate plunder. We must hold the government accountable for prioritizing the interests of foreign exploiters over the safety, rights, and genuine development of its own people.
